Dry Type Fish Feed Extruder
Dry type floating fish pellet machine, also called fish feed pellet mill, is widely used for producing variety materials into high-grade aquatic feed pellets for fish, catfish, shrimps, crab etc. The final feed pellets have unique shape and good taste, high nutrition and smooth textures. For feeds of fish and shrimp, the floating time on water surface can be adjusted by the extrusion degree adjustment when extruding the pellets. Working Principle of Dry Type Fish Feed Extruder Machine
There is no need to heat outside the machine, through the screw extruding of the raw material, heat is produced and gathered during the rotary working process in the airtight environment, and during the high temperature ripening process, the starch and fiber of the raw material become swell. Then under the pressure-tight condition, material will be formed into pellets by shaping mould. At the end, through the high pressure produced by the regular rotating of the screw, after being cut by the forepart cutter which rotates regularly and high-speedily, the finished products will be shrunk and become small average puffed balls in room temperature and pressure.
Wet Type Fish Feed Extruder
Wet type fish feed machine is widely used for producing grains into high-grade aquatic feed pellets for many kinds of pet like fish, catfish, shrimps, crab, cat, dog and etc. Grain materials employed in fish feed pelletizer are such as wheat, soybean, cake and other leftovers and etc., moreover puffing pellets produced by the pellet machine can float on the water surface without dissolution for over 12 hours. The material is fully matured between the screw and the screw sleeve by high temperature and high pressure, and then extruded to form a floatable expanded pellet.
A unique supercharged die unit is installed to ensure feed yield and quality; and a heating device is provided to increase the feed expansion rate. The main motor uses a high quality three-phase motor to ensure high power. The speed-adjusting feeding device is more convenient to operate, and the feeding is uniform to prevent the machine from being smashed. The discharge template is easy to replace, and it is only necessary to replace the required aperture template with different aperture feeds.

Technical Features of Floating Fish Feed Mill
1. This fish feed machine adopts the auto-controlling speed feeding tool to produce the feed material evenly.
2. Electric heating device is adopted which can improve the feed expansion rate and pellets floating time.
3. High temperature and high pressure cooking process can kill the salmonellosis and bacterial infections and also makes the pellets easily to digest.

Difference Between Dry and Wet Fish Feed Extruder
Fish feed making machine can be divided into dry type and wet type fish feed extruder according to the moisture of the raw materials.
1. Dry type
Heating the materials by the frictional force, this floating fish feed extruder machine squeezes raw materials out of the holes of the mold under the action of screw extruder. The pressure and temperature of the pellets sharply decreases when coming out of the machine, and the moisture evaporates. Then materials are puffed and become pellets with porous structure. During the process, the moisture ranges from 15 to 20 percent.
2. Wet type
The working principle of wet type is similar to dry type. But the former needs to add water or steam into the machine to increase the moisture to 20 percent, or more than 30 percent during the process. It increases the temperature of the materials by steaming. Different from the dry type floating fish feed pellet mill, the wet type is equipped with a boiler which can continuously steam the materials to make pellets. It is a crucial machine for making high-quality fish pellets and pet food.
Fish Feed Pelleting Machine
The Feed pelleting machine (flat-die pelletizer) is used for converting feed ingredients that are in mash form into dry pellets resulting in strong, smooth pellets that are good for feeding livestock. Thus, it turns mash feeds into pellets without adding water, producing various sizes of pellets – 2mm for Juveniles, 4mm for post-juveniles as well as 6mm and 8mm. The size of pellets you choose to produce depends on the age and size of the fish.
Flat die type fish feed pelleting mill
Flat die pellet machine adopts belt, worm gear and worm wheel mechanism, with the smooth rotation, low noise, material feeding relies on its own gravity, to avoid clogging. The speed of the spindle is about 60rpm, the line speed of the roller is about 2.5m/s, which can effectively remove the gas in the material and increase the tightness of the product. Because of low speed, reduces noise and component wear at run time, it can produce high fat and high sugar honey products. Roller bearings have permanent lubrication and special seal, which can prevent the lubricant polluting feed raw material in granulating process and reduce the loss of lubricant. Features of flat die fish feed pellet machine
1.Dry into and dry out (raw material moisture is not less than 13% of the national export volume of water), using differential mechanism, universal joint driving. Adopting electric motor or diesel engine makes it low energy consumption, high yield, easy operation.

The raw material is fine feed, such as corn, soybean meal, cottonseed meal, and so on, the adhesion rate is high. In addition the granulation with steam conditioner, can advance to the softening and curing effect on the material, and thus better granulation, increase particle gloss. Main performance and characteristic

The differences between flat die feed pellet machine and ring die feed pellet machine
* Feeding way: ring die pellet machine adopts mechanical force feeding into granulating chamber under high speed rotating centrifugal power, through the scraper to distribution of material, feeding is not uniform; flat die pellet machine relies on the weight of the material itself into the press room, which can uniform feeding.
*Pressure: in the mold under the same diameter, the diameter of ring molding wheel is limited by the diameter of ring mold, so the pressure is limited; the diameter of flat molding wheel is not limited by the diameter of flat mold, it can increase the bearing inner space. Selecting of large bearings to enhance the bearing capacity of the press wheel is not only improve the roller pressing force, but also prolong the life.
*Discharge mode: the ring mold has a high speed, the damage rate is high when the material discharged; while the flat mode has low speed, so the damage rate is low.
*Press wheel adjustment mode: ring die fish feed mill uses the two screws, which are on the eccentric wheel in the middle of the press wheel, to adjust pressure; flat die granulating machine is adopt screw thread column center adjusting mechanism, one hundred tons top force, falling steadily, soft touch, uniform pressure. Rotating manual and hydraulic automatic, the two ways can be used.
